Katy loves Jesus, is an adventurer, and loves encouraging women through seasons of life on their journey. 

Katy was married to her first love in 1983. She and Wes adopted their first child. Daniel and through a miracle, have Jimmy, their second son. Life changed drastically in 2015, when Wes unexpectedly died of a heart attack. Through this season, Katy rediscovered herself, through traveling and learning the love of car camping. She experienced the Canadian Rockies camping her way through Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper and the beautiful glaciers.

This trip brought out courage and a desire to live to its fullest in the years ahead. Katy has found love a second time around in her best friend, Scott. Together they enjoy camping, biking, and hockey; and the joy of their lives, together their four sons and their families.
