Walking With Women celebrates 5 years this spring! Remembering the first days when we met in the coffee shop. We met as women looking for a friend. Conversations sounded something like this … I have never been invited to a coffee group … This is the highlight of my week … Thank you for putting this together …

Here we are today, 3 Bible study groups meeting weekly, serving with various organizations in our communities, a monthly dine-out for ladies; and for couples; 5 days of walking, walks twice a day some days, exploring day-outs once a month, weekend workshops/get-aways once a quarter … with a 4th Bible study group on the horizon, couple outings being planned … monthly growth videos be recorded.

Just this last month, God in His way of doing things — has taken beginning a small coffee chat to greater lengths —

Walking With Women has a partner group in Northern Kentucky.

We are so excited to introduce our partner, Fran Gollahon. This her story and how you can connect with her.

“Between the pandemic, the heartbreaking death of my husband and shortly thereafter, my sister, I found I was more and more isolated. I knew about Katy’s Walking With Women in Idaho and I wished I had the same kind of community here in Kentucky. I talked with Katy and that conversation led to me starting a Walking With Women spin-off group here! I look forward to developing friendships and activities that are only fun, but also glorify God by our care and concern for our sisters.

As Katy’s theme states, “It’s not about preaching, it’s about sharing”

You can meet Fran on the 1st Thursday of the Month
